Individuals, Groups Can Earn Free Tickets

to Sauk County Fair Grandstand Shows

 

BARABOO, WI—(June 23, 2005)—The Sauk County Agricultural Society is giving away free grandstand show tickets to Sauk County-area individuals or groups who volunteer a few hours to the Sauk County Fair, July 11-17, at the Fairgrounds in Baraboo.

 

From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily Wednesday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, greeters are needed at the Washington Street walk-in entrance only. Greeters will hand out the Daily Schedule sponsored by Culver’s of Baraboo, Spring Green and Sauk City.

 

For four hours of service, people can receive a grandstand ticket to the Run What Ya Brung ATV Races on Wednesday, Bud Light Battle of the Bands concert and competition on Thursday, Pullers Inc. tractor pull on Saturday, or a demolition derby show on Sunday.

Admission onto the Fairgrounds remains free. Daily free events include the 4-H Action Center, Barn Yard Theatre, Milk Tent activities and give-aways, 4-H/FFA projects, Open Class entries, live animals and judging, educational exhibits and commercial vendors. Free nightly music in the Litscher Pavilion includes Swing Crew presented by First Weber Realty, Easy Street, Denny Dean and the Cadillac Cowboyz, the winner of the Bud Light competition and local deejays.
