Worley-Kentucky Headhunter Ticket Sales Shift to Fair

BARABOO, WI—(July 10, 2005)—With the Darryl Worley-The Kentucky Headhunters concert just days away, ticket sales shifted at midnight Sunday night from online only to the Sauk County Fair office only. Tickets for the Friday, July 15, 6 p.m. concert are $20 for general seating or $25 for standing stage side.

Online tickets are no longer available, reports Sauk County Agricultural Society Vice President George Koepp. Instead, people now need to stop by the Fair office beginning Wednesday, July 13, at noon for tickets. Koepp says there are plenty of good seats still available—especially since it's general seating and concertgoers pick their own seats when they get there early enough!

The band Easy Street opens the night at 6 p.m. That’s an hour before the Grammy-winning The Kentucky Headhunters, giving concertgoers plenty of time to find their favorite spots in the house. Darryl Worley follows The Kentucky Headhunters. The concert occurs rain or clear sunset because of a covered stage being brought in that will protect instruments and sound equipment. Concertgoers will need to bring their own covering in case of rain.

The Sauk County Fair runs July 11, starting with the cat show, until July 17, ending with the Championship Demolition Derby. Admission onto the Fairgrounds remains free. Daily free events include self-guided barn tours, animal judging shows, Youth Action Center, Barn Yard Theatre, Milk Tent activities and give-aways, 4-H/FFA and Open Class/Adult project displays, educational exhibits and commercial vendors. Free nightly music in the Litscher Pavilion includes Swing Crew presented by First Weber Realty, Easy Street, Denny Dean and the Cadillac Cowboyz, the winner of the Bud Light competition and H&D Sound.
