Tuesday, July 7th - Sunday, July 12th

Our new Fairest of the Fair who will reign at the 2009 Fair is Rachel Messmer (center) of Baraboo, daughter of Matt and Jill. She is a 2008 graduate of Baraboo High School and will enroll in a pre-med college program this autumn. Messmer is a member of the Lucky M 4-H Club and Baraboo FFA Chapter. She has been very active in the horse project in both organizations, as well as being an honor student, captain of her soccer team and active in community events. Congratulating Messmer are 2008 Wisconsin Fairest of the Fair Claire Carroll (left) and 2008 Sauk County Fairest of the Fair Cathy Jo Luck.
